| November 2012 | HALO Electronics Wins Jury Verdict in Patent Suit Against Pulse ElectronicsHALO Electronics announced today that it won a jury verdict on November 26, 2012 in a long-running patent dispute involving its proprietary package design for surface mount magnetic components. The jury found that defendants Pulse Electronics, Inc. and Pulse Electronics, Corp. willfully infringed three different HALO patents and ordered them to pay past damages. A future remedy of an injunction or an ongoing royalty will be addressed by the Court in the coming months |
| October2012 | Counterfeit HALO PartsIt has come to our attention that there are counterfeit HALO™ parts in the market. Without careful inspection, many of these parts may look as though they are actual HALO product. It is likely that the counterfeit parts will not meet the electrical specifications provided in HALO’s datasheets and will not be UL/EN60950 or DEMKO recognized. Because these parts are not licensed or authorized by HALO, they may also violate HALO’s patent and trademark rights. |
